POST : Documentation Officer

Introduction: Shri Nirotilal Buddha Sansthan (SNBS) came in to existence in 1994 as non-government organization of marginalized people and has undertaken the task to promote the welfare of this section of the society, lead to their upliftment and development for integration with the total society by improvement in their economic, educational, social, cultural and health standards.

About SNBS: Shri Nirotilal Buddha Sansthan was registered under Society Act in 1994 and has been primarily working in the areas of health and its determinants, safe drinking water, hygiene, sanitation, HIV/AIDS awareness, family planning & welfare, child labor & literacy, education, livelihood, plantation, community awareness and development, with especial focus on marginalized sections of the societies, slum dweller women and children through various development programs.

Role and Responsibilities:

Documentation Officer will have the following roles and responsibilities while working at Love Matters India:

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities

· Provide inputs, information and statistics for quarterly, annual and other reports to Project Management Team

· Assist other project personnel and prepare and maintain data base

· Develop and maintain systems to organize, maximize, and facilitate access to project documentation, including internal and external technical publications and subject-related tools and manuals.

· Edits and writes Progress Reports and Work Plans and other needed reports for submission to donors, manuals, evaluations, workshop reports; working papers, abstracts, and summaries.

Job Knowledge/Technical Expertise:

· Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of information technology and digital spaces. Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports

· Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software

· Strong documentation, training & facilitation skills

· Extensive experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, familiarity with the Adobe Suite and Photoshop

· Knowledgeable about Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.

Communication skills:

· Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

· Result-orientation and ability to develop project – proposal

· Shares knowledge across the organization and builds a culture of knowledge sharing and learning.

· Fluency in written and spoken English and Hindi

Core Competencies:

· Required Skills and Experience

Educational Qualifications: A Degree or equivalent in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics or related fields. Post Graduate Degree would be desirable.

Experience: Between 1 to 3 years of experience in the documentation with NGOs/ Digital projects, any repotted company.

Role and Responsibilities: This position will be located at district headquarter level to facilitate project in the local community of Agra. S/he has to work in close coordination with ICTCs at district and sub-district level.

Candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline with minimum 1 years of working experience. Candidates having experience in NGO sector will be given priority.

Educational Qualifications: A Degree or equivalent in Social Sciences.

Experience: Between 1 to 3 years of experience with NGO sector.
